Orientation Camp 2007 - The Cross part 1 PDF Print

This is the first talk delivered by Nat Clarke from the March 2007 Orientation Camp (aka. Beach retreat) on the Cross of Christ.  Why did Jesus die? Why is the cross so central to the christian faith?  Why is forgiveness such a big problem for God?  Question time at the end.  Not very good quality recording.

Main Meeting Wednesday 21st March 2007 PDF Print

Nat gave a talk on sex (Sex Part 1) whereby he showed how Christians should view sex and how God uses the imagery of sex throughout the Bible (especially Ezekiel 16) to show us what our relationship with Him is like, both when we're faithful and when we're not. The ultimate reason why God created sex was so that we could know him more fully and conversely, knowing God more fully is designed by God as a way of guarding and guiding our sexuality, and keeping us from sexual sin.

How can we reach out without selling out?  How can we be both pilgrims (Romans 12:1-2) and indigenous (1 Corinthians 9:22)? This talk tries to answer these questions.
