We believe that this world is messed up

We believe that God exists

We believe that He made the world and everything in it

We believe that He loves the world

We believe that the world was created good but that because of our sin it is messed up

We believe that every person is a sinner and that that is the biggest problem in the world

We believe that sin separates us from God and from each other

We believe that deep down, every single person wants to know God

We believe that is because God created us to know Him

We believe that no soul finds rest until it finds rest in God

We believe that God sent his Son Jesus into the world to fix the world through his death on the cross and rising to life.

We believe that Jesus was raised from the dead and so death has been defeated

We believe that He is now seated with God the Father in heaven reigning as the King of the world

We believe that anyone who believes in Jesus won’t die, but live forever

We believe that the Bible is God’s Word and that it is living and active

We believe that the message about Jesus – the gospel – needs to be told, preached, explained, defended and lived out everywhere.

We believe that it is unloving not to tell the truth, even if people don’t like the truth.

We believe that God is love

We believe that God is angry because of sin

We believe that at the cross of Jesus, justice and love met

We believe that Christians are not perfect, just forgiven

We believe that Christianity is more a relationship than a religion

We believe that the day Jesus Christ was crucified was the saddest and the happiest day in history

We believe that in heaven there will people from all over the world and that we should be reflecting that now on earth

We believe that life may be hard, but God is good

We believe that Jesus will come again and Judge the world

We believe in preaching the hard bits of Christianity, not just the nice bits

We believe in evangelism and the Great Commission

We believe that the chief end of man is to glorify God and enjoy Him forever

We believe in the Holy Spirit, the third person of the Trinity, and that He lives inside every Christian
